From where I came to know about steemit?

One day i was chilling with my friend. We were out for shopping and during gossips he told me about the steemit he showed me his account first i though it is scam or totally waste of time but after i searched about steemit and i saw a very positive reaction of people about steemit then decided to make account on steem. And look now I am here with you guys. So that's how i came to know about steemit.
