I’m lost in my emotions, like in a turbulent sea, as my tears become oceans, now that flood down from me
There’s something now missing, and I can’t bring it back, as my soul feels so empty, as this sadness attacks
I look at your pictures, and it doesn’t seem real, can you just be missing, but it’s not what I feel
Grief’s my brutal companion, now I have such sore eyes, from the days spent crying, still trying to believe all my lies
I try hard not to dream, as into nightmares they turn, and their meanings are dark, now for some peace I do yearn
I’m so lost in emotions, as my grief holds me down, washing over me with sadness, and hoping somehow I won’t drown
