How to create your own Hive Debit card (for ANDROID users only)

NOTE: this is for android users only!! iOS instructions to follow!

Anyone can permissionlessly create their own Hive Debit card. No need to ask us or anyone. All you need is an NFC card or wearable version 215 or 216, your spend account active key (don’t worry we don’t store it).

1) make sure your android device has NFC capability enabled
2) go to Hivedebit.com
3) click create card
4) enter account name, daily spend limit and active key when promoted
4) when promoted hold your card to the back of your android phoneUploaded using 3Speak Mobile App

Any NFC card version 215, 216 It is compatible, they gave it to me at TalentLand 2025 in Guadalajara.

It is compatible for paying at NFC terminals that charge in BTC lightning ⚡There are many places, you just have to search for them; you can find some on the V4Vapp map.

So if I pay with hive, does it automatically convert to BTC or also fiat?
I kinda just want to use a crypto card in a normal store without the store having to have a wallet

For now you could only use them on sites that already accept crypto, a change to Fiat would be a plus of course, but gold now if the business is affiliated with Distriator you receive cashback as is the case of HiveHubGuate.

Har 2 forskellige. Det ene er thorwallet. Der er kyc, men med en bankkonto i Schweiz 💪🏼
Det andet kan jeg ikke huske om har kyc, men de har også et fysisk kort. COCA hedder de.

So you pay directly with Hive using your debit card, but the Hivedollar isn't converted into fiat currency at the card reader?
