Why was ipfs chosen over peertube?

Peertube uses bittorrent as it's underlying storage protocol. Bittorrent is very old and lacks standardization. IPFS is substantially better to use compared to bittorrent for mass storage

Odysee has a killer feature - automatically merge videos from YourTube. It is very easy to post to YT and it will automatically uploaded to Odysee.
