After cleansing the wells and taunting local demons, I pursued a flying Ittan-Momen on KK's advice, and lost it to photo mode distractions. Utilizing a Tengu to regain a high vantage point, the spirit was successfully captured before a final farewell to the shrine's grateful Spirit.

Now that I successfully cleansed both corrupted wells, I prepared to meet the spirit who originally gave me the vital intel about the area to close this chapter, but first I decided to spend some time taunting the hostile demons lingering around the perimeter, who completely failed to stop my progress.

While making my way toward the spirit's location, I suddenly spotted an Ittan-Momen drifting through the air, prompting KK to suggest that I should immediately give chase and try my best to keep up with its movements until it finally stopped.

I eagerly started chasing the flying cloth through the open air between the tall buildings until it reached a standstill, which offered our absolute best chance to secure it, but I unfortunately spent far too much time adjusting my camera angles for photography, allowing the creature to seize the opportunity to escape.

Following the mishap, I was instructed to return to the exact spot where I had first sighted the creature. Upon returning to the spot, I spotted a airborne Tengu hovering directly on top of a massive building, creating a stunning visual against the red moon hanging behind it.

I used my abilities to grapple onto the Tengu and launch myself up to the rooftop so I could survey the vast urban area below, which quickly allowed me to pinpoint the exact path of the escaped Ittan-Momen once again.

I successfully closed the distance to the Ittan-Momen for a second time, immediately executing a precise hand seal to bind it since KK had my back, ensuring I absolutely did not mess up the opportunity again as I pulled its core out at its final resting point.

With the yokai secured, I finally reached the Spirit waiting patiently by the shrine gate, and right after I informed her that I had fully completed the task of cleansing the wells, she peacefully vanished from sight, leaving this mortal realm completely satisfied.

Immediately following her departure, I visited a nearby telephone booth to safely transfer the accumulated spirits out of my katashiro, pausing briefly on the wet asphalt to admire the sight of the haunting red moon shining through the heavy rain.
