Explosive Weaponry
All monsters have the blast ability
The explosive weaponry ruleset provides
Consideration
In my perspective, explosive weaponry is all about who to attack first. This means that the speed is very important part to consider when dealing with explosive weaponry ruleset. The faster the monsters, the higher chance to eliminate monsters before it deals a massive damage.
The first thing that I usually consider is whether there is an available monster with reflection shield as this will stops the blast attack nullifying the explosive weaponry effect. In usual case, a taunt unit is place in the first with a reflection shield monster in the second position or in the last position with a reflection shield monster in its adjacent position. With this strategy, the blast effect is controlled and won't provide a big impact.
The next thing that needs to consider is the attacking monsters with high speed. Those monsters must be the priority to use in the battle. A monster with opportunity and scattershot are the good one to use as these monsters usually attack the backline position dealing damage to three monsters.
If there is no available monsters with reflection shield, I usually check those with shield or void abilities as the physical and magical blast effect are usually nullify as well by this abilities.
Overall, prioritize magic reflection abilities and high speed monsters in your lineup.
💥 Cards
Suggested Cards
In terms of summoners in modern, those who provides a speed modification are the best to use.
Below are my top summoners choice when it comes to Explosive Weaponry

Information
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Conqueror%20Jacek_lv3.pngConqueror Jacek
First this is that Jacek provides +2 extra speed which is very suitable with the explosive weaponry. The scattershot which provides by Conqueror Jacek bypasses the taunt setup which provides a perfect blast damage.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Kelya%20Frendul_lv6.pngKelya Frendul
Kelya is one of the favorite in terms of Explosive weaponry because of the extra speed and armor it can provide. In addition, Tide Biter from the water splinter do have the reflection shield ability.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/rift/Ilthain_lv5.pngIlthain
Ilthain also provides eextra speed and reflect range attack. The extra speed is essential to the explosive weaponry ruleset as well as Life splinter have Corsair Bosun with refleciton shield ability.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/untamed/Byzantine%20Kitty_lv3.pngByzantine Kitty
This summoner with +2 speed and aim true can provide high win rate for explosive weaponry. Kitty is truly the most powerful summoner.
https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Quix%20the%20Devious_lv3.pngQuix the Devious
Quix the Devious just like Kelya Frendul have something to do with speed. A less speed from the opponent gives extra boost to your team in the explosive weaponry. It even reduce the attack of range monsters.
In choosing the monsters, as I have mentioned those with something to do with speed are the good choice in the battle. Personally most of my monsters are from Dragon an Water for this ruleset follow by the Fire and Life.
Below are the list of my choices of monster with abilities that may provide advantage in the battle:

The disadvantage cards are those who have a very slow speed under normal circumstances as well as those with recharge ability as before they can attack, they might get defeated first.

Rules of Combat
Modifications: Are You Not Entertained?, Explosive Weaponry, Taking Sides
Mana Cap: 47
Playable Splinters: Water and Dragon
Team Composition
Both water and dragon splinter are good in the explosive weaponry ruleset. In this battle, I personally choose those monsters with high speed.
- Summoner: I have chosen Kelya Frendul over Quix the Devious as I want additional armor. This is a good choice since there is no range monster from the opponent.
- 1st Position: Diemonshark is my first choice in frontline as besides that this monster have a high armor, health and speed. It have trample and enrage which is also a good one for explosive weaponry.
- 2nd Position: Tide Biter simply because of the reflection shield which nullify the blast effect from the attack to Diemonshark.
- 3rd Position: Isgald Vorst because of the opportunity and high speed which is painful with blast.
- 4th Position: This is the same with Isgald Vorst, Deeplurker dealing opportunity attack with blast.
- 5th Position: River Hellondale to provide boost damage to all melee monsters.
- 6th Position: Runemancer Kye is my last resort which can stacks up a lot of health from the magic attack with blast.
Battle Analysis
Looking on the opponent's line-up, the opponent also focus on high speed monsters and chosen flying squid high health and blind over Tide Biter reflection shield.
This line-up might be hard to predict who is the winner in the first look but I think the reflection shield from Tide Biter provides the advantage on this round.
💥 Closing Remarks
Explosive Weaponry is such a powerful ruleset especially when use correctly. This is like you have the Yodin Zaku effect in the battle. To me, the most important part of my line-up is how to minimize the impact of the blast damage without sacrificing the attack power of my team. Speed is the king in the explosive ruleset battle in my opinion.
