Hello! I hope to show you a worthwhile and interesting series of pictures of a Garden sunbird, which was very busy to feeding on the nectar of flowers. This bird is not particularly large. It would easily fit in the palm of an adult's hand.

Hallo! Ich hoffe, dass ich hier eine lohnenswerte und interessante Bilderserie eines Grünrücken-Nektarvogel zeige, welcher sehr damit beschäftigt war, von dem Nektar der Blüten zu kosten. Sonderlich groß ist dieser Vogel nicht. Er würde so ungefähr mit Leichtigkeit in die Handfläche eines Erwachsenen passen.

Such a Garden sunbird seems to be extremely energetic. Always jumping around between the flowers. If necessary, it stretches and bends.

So ein Grünrücken-Nektarvogel scheint extrem Energie geladen zu sein. Sprang immer zwischen den Blüten umher. Wenn nötig, wird sich gestreckt und verbogen.

If you looked closely, you may have seen the bird's tongue in some of the pictures. So narrow and thin, a detail like that quickly gets lost. What is also interesting is that I was able to observe how the bird was able to hover in the air in one place.

Wer genau hingeschaut hat, hat vielleicht auf einigen Bildern die Zunge des Vogels gesehen. So schmal und dünn, da geht so ein Detail schnell unter. Auch interessant ist, ich konnte beobachten, wie der Vogel sich auf einer Stelle schwebend in der Luft halten konnte.
