Me hubiese gustado hacerlos parte de mi felicidad el día de mi cumpleaños, aunque ya les conté que celebro dos días, 26 y 27 de mayo, porque errores en la inscripción me hicieron parte de este puente existencial.
Estuve los dos días sin electricidad, algo terrible por lo que en términos de desarrollo implica tener electricidad: altas temperaturas y un silencio que atrapa cualquier alma.
Pero la felicidad dependía de mí en un gran %, por tanto preparé pastel y otros detalles de brindis, y recibí a mi familia el día 26.

Celebrar la vida es un acto de resistencia y de luz propia. En un mundo que a menudo nos lleva a los límites de la rutina, el agotamiento o la queja, detenerse para honrar la existencia propia y la de los demás se convierte en una clave para ascender.
Desde el día anterior, Jorgito me dijo: "Ya llega tu cumpleaños y te tengo una sorpresa". Generalmente a los niños les encantan las sorpresas. Me regaló un perfume y se encargó de buscar a sus amiguitos para comer pastel.

Él no sabe de economía familiar; él solo sabe que en las celebraciones se comparte. Y cuando esa clave funciona, no solo abrimos una, sino muchas puertas que permanecían ocultas a la vista común.
Mi pastel también fue para algunos que, en esos días de oscuridad, posiblemente ese bocado sería lo único.

La primera puerta que se abre al celebrar es la de la conciencia plena. Cuando soplas las velas de una tarta, cuando brindas por un logro o simplemente bailas una canción sin motivo aparente, alejas las malas vibras.
De repente, fui consciente del ahora. Cumplí 57 y en algún agradecimiento dije que agradezco las canas, el no tener arrugas y el dar prioridad a los placeres.

Recibí un regalo muy especial; parte de él eran tres rosas amarillas que venían a mí como fichas que completaban un puzle.
Celebrar te ancla en el presente, y en ese anclaje descubres que la vida no es solo un problema por resolver, sino un regalo por disfrutar. Entras a un estado de conciencia donde todo toma su orden.

Luego, mis amigas se confabularon para hacerme la vida más agradable. Se abrió la puerta de la conexión. La celebración es, por naturaleza, un acto colectivo. Incluso cuando celebramos en soledad, lo hacemos imaginando a quienes queremos o agradeciendo al universo.
La carencia y la crítica se disuelven para dar paso al abrazo, al cariño expresado sin miedo, a la vulnerabilidad compartida. Esa puerta da paso a un pasillo donde la empatía crece como una enredadera que une los corazones.

Al decidir festejar el simple hecho de estar vivos, aceptamos la fragilidad de nuestra existencia, y esa aceptación nos hace más fuertes. No se celebra a pesar de las grietas, sino con ellas, y al hacerlo, la luz entra por esas mismas grietas.
Finalmente, se abre la gran puerta de la gratitud. La celebración genuina: un café, una sangría, un cóctel. Cuando celebras lo pequeño, entrenas a tu cerebro para buscar el asombro. Y en ese estado, la vida deja de ser una lucha y se convierte en un mosaico de milagros cotidianos.

Por eso, no esperes a tener todas las respuestas ni a solucionar todos los problemas. Celebra hoy. La puerta ya está ahí. Al otro lado, la vida te espera con los brazos abiertos y una fiesta que nunca termina.

I would have liked to make you part of my happiness on my birthday, although I already told you that I celebrate two days, May 26th and 27th, because mistakes in the registration made me part of this existential bridge.
I spent both days without electricity — something terrible, considering what having electricity means in terms of development: high temperatures and a silence that traps any soul.

I received a very special gift; part of it was three yellow roses that came to me like pieces completing a puzzle.
Celebrating anchors you in the present, and in that anchoring you discover that life is not just a problem to solve, but a gift to enjoy. You enter a state of consciousness where everything falls into its place.

Then, my friends conspired to make my life more pleasant. The door of connection opened. Celebration is, by nature, a collective act. Even when we celebrate alone, we do so by imagining those we love or giving thanks to the universe.
Lack and criticism dissolve to make way for the hug, for affection expressed without fear, for shared vulnerability. That door leads to a hallway where empathy grows like a vine that unites hearts.
