Powering Down

So why has it token over a month for me to power down my Steemit to sell it? This process seems flawed and a way for them to control what i should own.

Or maybe it is a way to prevent someone from draining your account if it gets hacked.

STEEM is the only secure crypto token that has an account recovery system.

And it is a 13 power down process.
