Nowadays, I try to stay safe online by avoiding random earning websites like I used to explore before. Most of those platforms are scams, and many of them disappear after taking users’ money. That is why I now prefer trusted blockchain-based platforms like Hive, where I feel much safer and more comfortable working.

Yes, I once became a victim of an online scam. I found a video platform through a YouTube video around 2019–2020. The platform claimed that users could earn money by watching YouTube videos. However, to start earning properly, users had to invest some money first.

At that time, I really needed money, so I invested a small amount and started working there. After working for several days, I received a small payment, which made me very happy and gave me confidence in the platform. But before I could recover my full investment, the website suddenly stopped working. I could not withdraw my invested money, let alone make any profit.

I do not even remember the site’s name now, but the experience taught me an important lesson. I lost both my time and money, and it was painful for me at that time. Interestingly, a short time later I started working on Hive, where I could work without investment, and that is one of the reasons why I enjoy being here.

In my opinion, every type of scam is dangerous. However, scams related to online earning are especially harmful because people lose not only money, but also time, trust, and hope.

Many scam websites use attractive advertisements, fake payment proofs, and emotional marketing to attract users. Beginners often become victims because they hope to earn money easily in a short time. Before joining any platform, it is important to check reviews, search for real user experiences, and understand how the platform actually works. Taking a little time for research can save both money and mental stress in the future.

What Advice Would You Give to Others?

My advice to everyone is to be very careful with online earning websites because many of them are fake. Never invest money without proper rlesearch, especially on platforms that promise easy income by watching videos or doing very simple tasks.

Instead, try platforms where you can start without investment and first check whether withdrawals are actually possible. Scam websites usually do not allow users to withdraw money easily unless they invest more.

If earning money by only watching videos were really that easy, then almost everyone would be doing it successfully. That is why people should stay aware, think carefully before investing, and avoid trusting unrealistic promises online.
