Hace ya varios años que venimos haciendo pequeñas acciones para que las aves que visitan nuestro jardín nos tomen confianza y nos permitan poder hacerles fotografías para disfrutar de sus comportamientos, pero quiero aclarar una cosa que es muy importante: siempre respetamos una distancia prudencial para no invadir sus espacios. Esta es una preciosa ¨especie¨ :  que nos visitó esta semana y estuvo bastante cerca de nosotros.

For several years now, we have been taking small steps to gain the trust of the birds that visit our garden and allow us to photograph them and enjoy their behavior. However, I want to clarify one very important point: we always maintain a safe distance so as not to invade their space. This is a beautiful species that visited us this week and came quite close to us.

Estas aves son de esos ¨ejemplares¨:  que son bastante desconfiados; de hecho, si prestas atención a las facciones de la cara, verás que nos observa con cierto recelo, pero tengo que admitir que, aun así, esta semana estuvieron más cerca que en otras oportunidades; además, se han animado a bajar a las hierbas.

These birds are one of those ¨exemplars¨:  that are quite distrustful; In fact, if you pay attention to their facial features, you'll see that they're watching us with some suspicion, but I have to admit that, even so, this week they were closer than on other occasions; In addition, they have been encouraged to go down to the grass.

Estas ¨aves¨:  nos han tomado bastante confianza, de hecho, la pareja baja a las hierbas para alimentarse, y por lo que pudimos observar, ambos se sienten tranquilos

Estas son las cosas que hacen que me encanten ver a las aves, y siempre este pendiente por tratar de fotografiarlas con nuestra ¨camara¨ :  esta creo que debe ser una de las semanas que más confianza nos han tenido estas bellezas. Bird watching in your own yard? How amazing !INDEED 😆 Did you by any chance build bird houses or bird baths around your garden? My container garden is too small. Otherwise, I'd love to have more plants that birds could visit. Happy weekend!
