They do come and go, but I agree with the issues. I think there were issues in the past when Hive market price was high, but things got resolved quite fast. I do agree that the nodes have been horrible lately.

It's been a rough go recently for sure.!

Nodes has been flaky lately. I just set my connections to automatic and if one node falls over it switches the api.

We are coming back strong! Hopefully to try and bring some life back into the platform. Hive has some of the best utility in crypto. The problem is that this space is all about number go up, and not fundamentals.

The thing is, we tried to build elsewhere, but had to come back because Hive is the best chain for what we are building.

The issue with the nodes is that yes, it's not worth running the RPCs in many cases unless you have a front end. We have looked at building a node for our front end, but ended up building a proxy cache node, which helps, but still relies on the public nodes.

Yeah that's the thing, I dont think there is anything like Hive anywhere else. I do think if 'management' here changed their attitude towards newcomers to the chain and the precious rewards pool, we might get some action.

But alas, there is no better place to build. Even with the drama lol

Yep, lol... Trust me, I tried building on every other kind of smart contract chain I could think to build on, and yeah, for what we are building especially, heck, we would go broke on any other chain trying to pay gas fees to pay out tiny streaming rewards. At this point, I am going all out. Witness going to be launched, possible RPC node, etc. Still not doing anything with the DHF, so honestly, it doesn't matter what the 'management' of Hive thinks. We are focused on Blocktunes, music, and the fans, not the platform they are built on. Nobody gives a flip what powers the internet, they just use it. That's where I am trying to take this thing.
