If you thought last week's condenser split was big news....Just wait until you see what the STEEM blockchain had up it's sleeve this week...
Massive news from the @SteemMonsters camp! A brand new joint venture with the Tron blockchain....And the potential to bring even more people to STEEM....
SteemMonsters will become 'SplinterLands' and will slowly lose the 'Steem' brand. But according to their development team...They aren't leaving Steem. And we don't see how they could...Both creators of the SteemMonsters project are HUGE Steem witnesses and champions of our blockchain....
We dive into that plus lots of @Steemhunt and @SteemSavvy news as well :)
And be sure to look for the word of the day....
If you include it in a comment below, we reward you with @SteemBasicIncome units :)

So . . . Splinterland . . . sure?
I find the evolution of STEEM based dApps recently interesting to watch from a purely business viewpoint. It does make sense to leverage potential exposure across various blockchains and accept different coins/tokens. It does, however, strike me as more than a coincidence that so much is currently addressing the TRON environment.
STEEM will continue to offer new dApps that will cause ripples in the overall blockchain ecosystem. This is simply the beginning, and not all will follow the same path.
Fun times await! :)
Building the STEEM blockchain with Savvy solutions!
I can totally understand your views on Steem & other similar platforms. The simpler it is, the BETTER. It needs to be user friendly so more people will be willing to become a part of the community. I have a feeling it will get there, but it just takes time. "If they build it, they will come" comes to mind. ;)
I wish Steem Monsters the best & hope the transition is a fruitful & successful one.
Thanks for a great weekly update, guys. You are making the unicorns dance just like they do in the #Steemsavvy Discord room lol. :)
Seeing so many comments about Steem Monsters / Splinterlands, it's obvious what's on people's mind right now. And with good reason, they have and will probably continue to make history with it.
But to balance a bit, I'll say that SteemHunt has some interesting plans ahead too with their ReviewHunt and later IdeaHunt, plus the new proposal for delegators.
