Sincerely when I was making a download of this application based on the reviews and rating I believed I had found "the one". I mean a mobile game that gives you the prestigious "gladiator" feeling . Where all you do is swing your battle axe and make heads roll, knees bow and kingdoms tremble.

Getting around the game
The game has two main modes :
The story
And the death match.

In the story mode which is more exciting and engaging you have 15 rounds of which you can be paired with other gladiators against another team. Or you are told that the fans love you, and would want to see what you got. This time all glory would be yours but not all coins.
It always get tougher as you progress which is a basic for any game but 15 required wits and skill to overcome your opponent . Rushing into battle can be suicidal as they are stronger , with higher weapons I mean thats part reason they are champions. One can also cheat death when killed but requires certain amount of coins to deceive DEATH who we all know is the ultimate gladiator....😅

The death match comes in real handy mostly when am in need of a few coins maybe for upgrades or getting geared up.
For starters you can set its difficulty at LOW, MEDIUM OR HIGH while placing bets the higher the difficulty the more the payout.
In this mode your character goes up against others, mostly 5 and its a " fight to death" you are rewarded by your kills. Your kills acts like a multiplier ( number of kills and bet amount is multiplied). One can pick up weapons and shield of the fallen and surprisingly can cheat death when you got some coins...😂😂😂 . I mean money gets everything done even DEATH can do a lot with some coins in his pockets.

Just like the name implies, they are simpler weapons easier to carry with higher speed , mostly shorter range and lesser damage. They can be purchased for some good coins .

They are just a contrast to their predecessor (the one handed ). More powerful in terms of damage but with reduced speed.

For me a gladiator's armour is pretty important . You are bound to receive blows from others but what keeps you on your feet is a good tactics , a nice shield and YOUR ARMOUR.

Also in game play one can do a lot better with a little upgrades to his skills.

The game also has provisions for rewards on some achievement which brings in coins.

MY VIEW ON THE GLADIATOR GLORY

The game has a very high rating of 4.8 out of a possible 5 which is excellent and is rated 12+ which calls for concern . I believed it should have been rated at least 16+ based on what a "gladiator" stands for and the images though not gory for an adult but kids might miss the point . Games of this nature are role playing , basically they give the feeling and most importantly for recreational purposes.

Am also a bit disappointed that the game has just a singular move maybe its part of the reason its rated 12+ . From the controls one would notice that you could only combine a kick and make a strike for variety or just go for the power strike by holding unto the sword button which is a mockery of a gladiator's abilities.

The part I stated above leads me to this in game play I noticed that blocks against other gladiators with higher or stronger weapons is a resounding waste of time. The only way therefore is to side step as they attack and make your power move by holding unto the strike button a bit longer. That's right..!! that as tactical as it gets how would maybe a 12-16 year old have the patience to do that for every battle ??? They just want to attack and get the glory which would get frustrating with time as your opponent get stronger. I mean I was too till I discovered me side stepping moves....😂😂😂.

With that said I believe the game is alright but my ratings would be at a 3.8 (+/-0.2) which is fair enough I mean there is always room for improvement as the game is on a version 4.4.0 and it can only get better.

Ways I believe it can be improved

Controls
A variety of controls will be alright I mean some inclusion to what we already have would not be so bad.

Maybe a wider range of options
Like a mission with higher difficulty and more money though that maybe a bit too much. But really people want to see more from a GLADIATOR.

Character movement
The movement mostly the side stepping is hilarious its like a Chinese Dragon dance , who does that in battle..?? 😂😂.
If they can fix this issues I believe the game would be FANTASTIC just like the name of its creators (Fantastic game studio)......... kazer 2018 (am in the wind)

😂😂😂 on God i dont really have any solid backings to why games should have age requirement but i just say what Grandpa tells me "son , you do not stick all the candy into your mouth at the same time. Some before others that way you get value for each and appreciate it better". I feel thats the reason so younger people dont tend to violence and other acts. If you are what you eat, you are what you watch and play cos everything one does maketh him.
