Today I'm bringing you a fun tutorial on designing and making underwear for my favorite guy, @ibarra95. This is my third time making this type of garment. I still have a lot to learn and need to improve my technique, but I want to share my progress with this wonderful community...

To make it, I used several sweaters I was going to throw away, since everything is reused here, and I had a feeling I'd need it at some point.
With the help of an old pair of underwear, I cut out all the pieces I needed, making the legs much longer, since my boyfriend loves them to be nice and snug and long. This way, I prevented them from riding up or from rubbing against each other.

Con ayuda de un calzón viejo, saque todas las piezas que necesaria para su elaboración, haciendo las patas mucho mas largas, pues mi chico adora que le queden bien reservados y largos. Evitando de esta manera que se deslicen hacia arriba o el contacto directo del roce de las piernas.

Procedure

I began this project by joining the curve of the lower part of the front lining, both pieces separately, and then placing them wrong sides together on the inside and right sides together on the outside, since in this case it wasn't necessary to hide the seam allowances.
That small arch serves as a little pocket to fasten from the front.

Comence este proyecto, uniendo la curva de la parte baja del forrito delantero, ambas piezas separadas, para luego encararlas reves con reves por dentro y derecho con derecho por fuera, pues en este caso no era necesario que quedara oculto los margenes de costura.
Ese pequeño arco, es el que sirve de bolsita para sujetar desde el frente.

Next, attach this small bag to the two front bows using pins. Sew one side first, then the other, creating a single piece that covers the entire front area.
For the back, I only needed to join the side seams, as I cut a single piece for that area. Since the fabric was already a bit worn, I used a long stitch to secure the seam allowances and prevent discomfort for the wearer.

Luego coloque esta bolsita en los dos arcos delanteros, con ayuda de alfileres. Uniendo primero por un lado y luego por el otro. Quedando una única pieza que cubra toda la zona del frente dlel mismo.
Para la parte tracera, solo debia empatar por los laterales, pues recorte una unica pieza para esa zona. En el caso de los margenes de costura, como la tela ya esta un poco gastada, le hice una costura con puntada larga, para fijar los margenes de costura, evitando molestias al que lo use.

Finally, apply a zigzag stitch around the entire perimeter, attaching the elastic to the underwear. This gives it a neater finish and simulates factory stitching, ensuring good durability.

Por ultimo aplique una puntada en zig zag, a todo el contorno uniendo el elástico a calzon. Dandole uterminación mas bonita y simulando la costura de fabrica, para lograr buena durabilidad.
