Right out of the gate people were calling BitConnect a scam...turns out it actually was tho haha

It was only a matter of time before this happened. I am surprised it lasted this long. I wonder if the coin will ever trade again.

I believe I saw they are just closing the investing site. The coin is still going to remain and will be able to be openly traded on other sites instead of just their own.

I think that last drop is because South Korea will ban Bitcoin and it will be illegal to have it there, thus everyone is selling it now just not to get in trouble , as well the scared ones are selling it and some speculators too.

Ban Bitcoin? There is SO much misinformation online.

I honestly wouldn't say they fucked everybody. They are giving people their money they have currently tied up in their site. They could have just scooted with the money like so many other sites have but these guys seem to be more on the up and up when it came to this. I honestly think if they had just come forward about who was indeed running the site/company there would have been alot less doubt as there would have been a face to point a finger at.

Makes me wonder about how the Bitconnect shills can show their face in public anymore. I literally can't fathom what kind of person would do that to so many people. However, part of me wants to tell people to do their own reading Kenn. The proof that this shit was shady AF was already out there. You also have done NUMEROUS posts showing how the earnings are bullshit without referrals.

It doesn't even make sense for them to continue the ICO if they're citing BAD PRESS as the reason why they're shutting down Bitconnect. As if something called Bitconnect "X" was something different. FOH.

I hope this is a lesson to everyone to NOT trust everyone they see on youtube promoting things. All it takes is a simple google search to start doing some reading.

I don't think these people should be prosecuted, however. This gives credence for governments to get further in to crypto. Governments typically have a history of overstepping their boundaries.

Luckily I only invested what I was prepared to lose.

Bitconnect was the example for all lending-platforms.
This Bitconnect scam makes other lending platforms lose all credibility in my opinion,
so I'm afraid we won't see any platform take over unless the platform explains why it could be sustainable.
