Both extension (3.12) and mobile (2.10) latest updates are now live!

This brings several updates across Hive Keychain based on feedback gathered at HiveFest and the latest changes of Hard Fork 28. You may have noticed some new updates on our app in the past few weeks, and many are thanks to your feedback. Let's see all the details.

Hard Fork 28 updates

Hive’s Hardfork 28 brings meaningful improvements to everyday workflows, and Keychain is ready for them across all platforms. The following are the changes that a regular user can use from Hive Keychain:

• Multiple Recurrent Transfers to the Same User: You can now create multiple recurrent transfers to the same account. This gives you more flexibility with automated payments, subscriptions, and more.

• Recurrent Transfer Card on Transfer Page: To make recurrent payments more transparent, the Transfer page now includes a small card showing your active recurrent transfers. You can cancel them directly from this card, without digging through history or external tools.

• dApp Support: Keychain now supports the new pair_id field in requestRecurrentTransfer, this has been added to both our SDK and Playground. Now dApps can properly create and manage multiple recurrent transfers per user.

• Updated Voting Value Calculation: since HF28 removes the dependency on Voting Mana, Keychain now uses the new voting value calculation throughout the UI.

• Multisig Prep: We’ve completed the frontend preparation for Keychain multisig support aligned with Hive HF28, which introduces a 24-hour expiration window for multisig transactions. This update sets the groundwork for upcoming multisig signing workflows inside Keychain.

Better Translations + New Language Menu

Accessibility matters. We polished existing translations and added a dedicated Language menu, making it easier for anyone to switch languages and experience Keychain in a natural way. There's no need to change your device language anymore; you can do it directly in Keychain's settings.

Streamlined Hive Engine Settings and Handling Broken Market Data

Managing large token lists can get messy, so we optimized the Hive Engine settings page to display only the tokens you own. Additionally, we set token prices for default to null instead of displaying incorrect values when Hive Engine market data becomes unavailable or inconsistent. This will prevent misleading prices and keep your portfolio information accurate.

Other small changes

• Fixes to HP & RC Delegations: fixed a small issue with Hive Power and Resource Credit delegations.

• Improved Account Name Validation: We fixed validation issues that occasionally rejected correct usernames or flagged false errors.

• More Responsive Dropdowns: We tuned the reactivity of dropdown components across the UI. Menus should feel snappier and more reliable, especially in high-interaction flows, such as selecting tokens, keys, or networks.
