I noticed it looked different today. I am finding some transactions don't seem to end, i.e. the logo keeps spinning, but when I check they have gone through. Mind you this is happening in peakd with things like comments that don't need me to confirm in Keychain. Are others seeing this?

We saw that there might be some issues with Chromium < 100

I'm using Brave. Doesn't seem to be an update available on Ubuntu yet. I'll see how it goes.

There is, another user was also on Linux and was on v96.
He updated to v102 and it's working fine now

No problem.
I think you should be able to update/reinstall it manually though if the store listing is delayed. Chromium 95 is almost 8 months old, so it's kinda weird that you can't update it.

My Ubuntu was a bit behind, but I've updated it and installed the latest Brave. Keychain working fine now.

I did notice it's not prompting me for a password when I first click Keychain after opening Brave. Has that behaviour changed?

Yes, we have to handle this differently now that Chrome is forcing us to move to their new manifest v3 extensions.
You can still change the autolock behavior in the settings though

I notice the difference as well. Seems to work fine. There is at least 1 change you need to watch out for. Make sure you pay attention to whether you are depositing or withdrawing when dealing with HBD savings.

So that's why it was looking so beautiful. UI looks lit now. UX is much better than before. Cheers guys and thanks for the updates.

When the update happened, the chrome-based caches needed Ctrl+F5 (Firefox was fine) but after that everything worked very nicely. Way more functionality! Super!

And so important is that part where we can now vote for witnesses and proposals. That needs to be something that new people on this chain need to be educated about. Now it becomes so much easy. Thanks!

Note: My preference for the small Font was something I liked most from the v1... but maybe I am missing the point here. It's mostly a pain on the Hive-Engine tokens part, for big balances, otherwise super OK. WOULD love for ordering on quantity, token name and maybe others, if the way of showing changes. =) teasing inexisting emoji 😅 👉 😎

I haven't been able to check out Hive in a few days but logging into keychain and witnessing the updated UI was a surprise! Thank you for the post update and keep up the great work.

I have problems with Firefox and can not do a transaction on hive engine.
What can I do?

Nice work on the update. It would be awesome if you come up with the same updates on the mobile app as well.

The claim button on the top was a little different for me Earlier it used to show me how much is waiting to be claimed. Now it doesn't show and if I click on that, it automatically claims. It will be nice if you can show the pending amount on hover or something.

If I close Brave browser, shut my computer down and reactivate it the next day I'm still logged into Hive keychain. A shiver runs down my spine because it reminds me of the time when I was a clueless Windows puppet.

Brain to memory: autologout disfunctioning, use manual logout. Confirm order. 🤔
