I challenge myself to create something today with no plan or prompt in mind except that nagging thought that I want something with nice rounded shape.

I know this could not be the final look of my original character as I can still see this evolving or changing. I made this doodle today and see below how it progressed into what it is now. A frog like winged reptile with a heavy tail.

This is the basic shape that I worked on and had been ok with it. Something that is rounded cute and maybe could look like a mushroom. To avoid it from looking like the rest of my drawings last week I gave it a vest and that breathing apparatus around its neck. Kind of like not from here maybe a visitor from the other planet

This is the color I initially chose and stuck with it I am not crazy over it but this is the color for now. Beside it are the other colors I am considering but did not use much

Here just trying a different color for the vest to make it stand out and not blend with its skin color

I just thought I would give it a pair of wings. Nothing mechanical but thin and transparent insect like wings to balance the chunky body

I thought I was already done but I added one more detail and that is the tail that is spiky.
