Throw me in zero degree weather,
but make sure I have a blanket.

Pistol whip me with a gun,
but make sure you have it on safety.

Stab me with a Knife,
but have the bandage waiting.

Throw me off a tower,
but just watch to see if I made it down safely.

Throw me in a lion’s den,
but make sure there’s enough food for all of us.

Run me over in traffic,
but make sure I know I’m special by using a short bus.

Do what you need,
treat me as you must.

But all of this hurts less than you lying,
then saying you love me.
