I joined Steemit about a month back and now it’s time I introduced myself to this community!

I’m Komal Irfan, a regular girl going through life one day at a time just like the most. I am a Pakistani. I was born and bred in Pakistan. Yes that’s my country and I love it.

Currently I’m working and pursuing my (long overdue) Master’s degree as well.
I’m the type of girl who does not bow to stereotypes. I believe in equality and freedom for all. I’ve come to realize that these two are gifts that not everyone has.

My beliefs apart, I like to travel, read, laugh and live life free of worries (well, don’t we all?). One day I do aspire to be a blogger though. I’m passionate about it but maybe not passionate enough or maybe I’m just stuck in the dullness of routine. Through blogging, I want to spread as much positivity as I can which is one of the main reasons for me to join this forum. There’s enough negativity and hate in the world as it is and thus we don’t need to add to it by being keyboard bullies spreading hateful comments towards others. There’s no shortage of that, that’s what I know. What the world needs is love, peace and honesty. That’s just me! Sometimes I want to spread world peace and other days I’m too lazy to even get out of bed.

I like to socialize and meet new people and get to know about their cultures and traditions.
This is just the start, with time, you’ll get to know a lot of me via my writings and my views because I’m myself in the phase of knowing myself more and more every day through my experiences. As a wise person once said, “When you know yourself, you are empowered. When you accept yourself, you are invincible.”
