We had some issues recently with plagiarism (thanks @stekene for bringing them to my attention). Those users have been dealt with appropriately (including removal from the community).

To help prevent plagiarism, please include your username as a signature on your works of art when possible. Really easy to add to to a painting/drawing. For 3d things, pics that include your face or username (like on a piece of paper next to your art) would be great.

This isn't a requirement to get curated, it will just help me and others figure out when others are copying your work!

I will also pay more attention to this going forward. It's a shame that this is an issue, but such is life.

Happy New Year 2024!

It is very unfortunate to learn that some users have committed these unethical acts. On the other hand, I am glad that they have been detected and corrective actions have been taken. I hope they learn their lesson and do not deny themselves the pleasure of making art in the future.

I will take your recommendations into account. I will look for a way to authenticate my works, it seems to me that the use of the analog or digital signature will be more than enough. In extreme case, it would be a good idea to coin it as an NFT.

I find it unethical to steal artists' work. This is certainly one way to help protect the works. Hopefully this will not happen again. Thanks for sharing this info.
