My tired look after long journey LBN-KUL-KMM

First night in Kemaman, we were brought to Laguna Ikan Bakar restaurant for dinner. Located at Jalan Air Putih, Chukai right next to MPK - Majlis Perbandaran Kemaman. It is one of the most known Seafood Restaurant in Chukai area hence we got our table reserved before we arrived. They serve typical varieties of seafood like Fish, Prawn, Shell and Crabs. But what attract us the most is their food presentation. The Crab & Fish dish is decorated with fresh flower, where to my experience only fine dining restaurants would do.

Sweet & Sour Fish

Earlier before we arrive Laguna Ikan Bakar Restaurant my colleagues were talking about Sata. About a must try local snack wrap in banana leaf. It is made of smashed fish, chilli, pepper, grated coconut, tumeric leaf, ginger and bay leaf. We were lucky to manage to get it at 8.00pm due this snack is only available day time. It doesn't look presentable but when I tasted the Sata, it is remarkably delicious. This is why always remember this quote "do not judge a book by its cover".

However, if you ever had a chance to visit Kemaman, try out Sata. You wont regret it. This I can assure you. So long you are not allergy to any of its ingredients that I mentioned earlier. You have to try it yourself to believe it.
