One step forward, two steps back
That's the way life seems to go
We need to make these kinds of mistakes
It teaches important lessons we'll need to know

Life's a bitch, it's too difficult
That's the way most people feel
With that attitude, nothing will ever change
You'll always get the raw end of the deal

If you want to accomplish anything in life
You have to truly believe you can
This kind of belief is what it takes
That's why most people will never understand

Anyone can change their life if they will believe
It will not happen if you don't do your part
If your life is empty and you want it to change
Believing is a good place to start
