A lady in the west Kenyan goldfields are washing gold bearing sand down a primitive sluice lined with mats from sacks. At best she captures 30-40% of the gold that is present. Modern equipment does a much better job at this and we are a team of Swedish gold miners that has started a project to help artisanal miners keep more gold and to do it without the use of mercury.
