I hope you all are doing great. Today I’ll be sharing with you the process of making a bag, which I recently made for myself. It turned out great.

So lets see how I made it.

Firstly, I gathered the main materials, such as leather and silk.

The leather I took from the place where car seat leathers are sold.

This is the silk that I bought from fabric shop.

Now the first this I did was to cut the leather into desired shapes such as following:

After cutting the desired leather pieces, I grabed these two pieces, one is the side piece of the bag (small piece) and the other one is the front piece of the bag (larger piece).

Now I placed the larger piece inside out and placed the other piece on it so that when I would sew it, the both leathers will be facing outwards.

And then, I started to sew it.

This is how it turned out after just sewing it. Both leather pieces were facing outwards, which is what I wanted.

Now I took the other smaller piece and sew it to the other end of the large piece (bag front).

This is how it turned out after sewing it.

Lastly I took the other larger piece. Which is the back side of the bag amd sew it too. This is how the it turned out after sewing.

Now i turned this initial structure of the bag inside out and took another piece of leather which will go in the bottom of the bag.

Now i placed this leather piece inside out to the bottom of the bag and sew it there just like this:

Now I turned the bag inside out and this is how it was looking.

Now I cut these two identical pieces of the leather and sew them together.

This is how this piece turned out, it was leather on both sides and it will go on the upper part of the bag.

Now I started attaching this piece to the bag like this:

Now this is how it turned out after sewing from back side.

And after folding this up the front side looked like this.

Now I took the silk.

And then, started adding the lining of silk to the bag.

And then I sew the lining to the bag.

This is how the bag looked like after adding the silk to the inside of the bag.

Now I took another silk piece and made a bow from it.

Similarly now I made the bow lengths too.

Now, I took the button and started to place it and check where it will be placed to close properly.

Then I started to sew the botton on the bag.

Similarly I started to sew the other side of the botton, very carefully so that the bag will close rightly.

And this is how it turned out after closing the botton. The bag was closing very easily.

After this I placed the bow to the bag and started to sew it too.

Now finally I found this star shaped ornament. Which I thought would look good on the bag.

I attached it to the bag as well and this is how the final look of the bag turned out.

I showed this bag to my mom and she literally loved it. It turned out great. I hope you guys liked ghe bag too.
