Previous update: https://steemit.com/blog/@lostgeneration/project-vehicle-update-9
So I have been sick and essentially bedridden for 2 weeks, but today I willed myself to the shop to work on something. Instead of working in the colder and harder to heat shop, I decided to work on something in the insulated building. So I began the process of checking and rebuilding the transfer case of the Blazer. The transfer case is what enables 4 wheel drive and range selection of 2 high, 4 high, 4 low, etc. A mechanism activates via lever to select range, which connects or disconnects the front drive shaft output to the rear drive shaft output. This is done with a drive gear, driven gear, and chain.
