Hello community. We are in week 64 of Hive Music Festival, an event that brings us together and encourages us not only to make music but to try to make it better every time. In the first days of a new year we are waiting for what will happen in 2024.

Most of us take this time as a favorable time to evaluate our efforts, achievements, failures, strengths, weaknesses that manifested themselves the previous year. . and we propose to be better and do better things in this coming year. This led me to select my song for this week looking for a theme in tune with that general feeling and for this reason I bring you the song "Abriendo Puertas" (Opening Doors) of the Cuban American vocalist Gloria Estéfan. Hola, comunidad. Estamos en la semana 64 de Hive Music Festival, un evento que nos congrega y estimula no solo a hacer música sino a tratar de hacerla mejor cada vez.

En los primeros días de un nuevo año estamos a la expectativa de lo que ocurrirá en este 2024. La mayoría de las personas tomamos esta época como un momento propicia para evaluar nuestros esfuerzos, logros, fallos, fortalezas, debilidades que se manifestaron el año anterior y nos proponemos ser mejores y hacer las cosas mejor en este año que comienza. Esto me llevó a seleccionar mi canción para esta semana buscando un tema en sintonía con ese sentimiento general y por este motivo les traigo la canción "Abriendo puertas" de la vocalista cubana estadounidense Gloria Estéfan. Les invito a leer haciendo clic acá información muy importante acerca de esta artista.
Quedaran gratamente impresionados con los detalles acerca de su vida tanto profesional como personal.

De tantos detalles interesantes acerca de Gloria Estefán compartirá con ustedes uno que llamó mucho mi interés: el hecho de que el periódico británico "The Sun" al hacer la lista de las 50 cantantes que nunca serán olvidadas, situó a Gloria Estefán en el puesto número 13. Con respecto a la canción, la misma es un canto de esperanza y optimismo que nos lleva, al comenzar un nuevo año, a saber que lo negativo que ocurrió el año anterior en este se puede transformar plenamente en algo positivo.  Va dando ejemplos simples y concretos de cómo muchas situaciones negativas de nuestro diario vivir son fugaces y son sustituidas por su opuesto como después de la lluvia, llega de nuevo la calma. .  
Hay una frase que se repite en el estribillo y subraya el hilo conductor de la canción: y vamos abriendo puertas y vamos cerrando heridas. Es un bello mensaje: abrimos las puertas para airear nuestra casa, nuestro ser, nuestras vidas. Que salga el aire enrarecido y entre aire nuevo, que entre luz. Abramos la puerta a nuevas iniciativas. Y cerremos las heridas... Si alguien nos hirió, esa herida la debemos cerrar, la debemos sanar. Nada positivo se puede construir sobre las bases de un rencor, hay que abrir puertas, cerrar herida, perdonar, amar, tener esperanzas,  pasito a paso en la senda vamos a hallar la salida.
