Over the three years i realized that investing means different things to different people.Today i often hear people saying things as follow
1.I just bought 100 shares of x company for $0.5 a share ,the price went up to $10 and i sold it

2.My husband and i buy old house and we fix it up and sell it for profit.

3.I trade commodity futures

4.I have over a million dollars in my retirement account

5.Safe as money in the bank
