I care a lot about DTube. It's an incredible platform with a lot of potential.

Thanks a lot for this video, I resteemed that on both my account and the community I'm building and I even shared this in general channel of the community. I have a similar story to yours, I also witnessed how dtube was created and I posted a few videos there when it was completly new, in the first week of the creation I guess. After that I stoped making videos, but I was just watching them. So I was preparing to make something special for months. And now I'm on dtube more than 6 months. This is a big motivation and inspiration for all of us. I watched all 22 minutes of the video. You are right, upvotes are not the most important in dtube and we have to care about other things rather than caring only about ourselves. And anyone can make mistake, we are all people. I understand how manual upvotes are hard. I had a steem service before I joined dtube and it was completelly manual. I like dtube snaps as well. Everyone can be a dtuber. The luck of engagement is because people make so much videos and they don't have time to comment. It's better to create one single video per day and take our other time to engage. When someone post often in a platform it's also a kind of spam. I'm on the web more than 3 years, I was active in forums and in a lot of websites where people talk. Mostly moderators set rules in there. But in dtube we have complete freedom, we don't have to use that to waste time of others and spam the platfom. We have to take our time, care about the quality and make dtube clean and nice looking to atract more good quality creators and investors as well. I think everything will be ok with dtube, we have to be positive. Dtube made me grow as well. Thank you. We all care, I love your videos. !

Haha that dtubesnap parody was rly what I was thinking some days before but this is a point I want to view from a different perspective:
I think we need to be clear that these snappers are real human and they want to improve as well. Everyone wants this. And there are so many things new people can improve:
- writing story
- upgrade equipment
- learn new ways to edit
- engage by video responses
and many many more.
With the self-confidence by these upvotes will come the change to a higher level. This is what I experienced so far. I think I could make a snap about that haha
But overall I like the message you send out with the

I will be honest, I came in because of DTubeSnap
Only because here on this Steemit/Dtube sphere... engagement is expected
I found that very hard to deal with initially, but like you I have found my voice and confidence and it has helped me to reach out because otherwise, it was very hard to grow
Why Snap for me, because to engage I am going to have to watch (I don't care for fake comments and wouldn't want to give it too)
So if I am going to create and curate and engage.... and if I have to do this for videos that are as long as this one (i loved it... which is why I watched it til the end) but can you imagine that would mean I am going to be spending a whole lot of time here...

So, if it's a 1 to 3 minute maybe even 5, I can deal with
I can watch 1 maybe 2 longer videos, a few of the short ones, read some posts, engage...
And then go do the real life thing
So this is the reason why Snap got me interested ( in my head I am thinking Nas Daily right... haha)

This is the biggest reason why Snaps lured me in
But all said and done, Content is still King :)

Oh, and also when I first came back to DTube, I was shocked to find out all my old videos were gone haha
I'm over it now and am very ok with it now

I actually have an anxiety about things being stored forever. It fuels my perfectionism and makes me worry about creating anything or putting anything out there. The idea of things disappearing is actually pretty nice to me.
