I do not see a method how-to defend myself if somebody would invest into a deepfake that looks and sounds like me.

Right now the price might still be in the thousands to pull that, soon it will be couple hundert and after that any phone and a 20$/month subscription will do.

Ha, well - they already do ID theft protection to some degree if I remember right.

Only very few people are actually using it, but you have a good point there.
