A lovely night to my night owl friends. The clock struck twelve, and everyone at home was asleep. I stayed a while sitting on the balcony, gazing at the stars and enjoying the cool night air.
Thoughts from the day came to me. I smiled when I remembered the mischief my beloved son got up to, and then, out of nowhere, my brow furrowed. The reason? Simple, something that has become a bit of a regular occurrence in our daily lives. We were all watching a movie on TV, one of those we all love: an adventure film with swords and knights, and suddenly, boom! The power went out, so we couldn't enjoy the much-anticipated ending. We were a little upset. To lift our spirits, I turned on the radio to listen to some music, but our disappointment and low spirits were obvious.

Later, the laughter and stories returned, but without a doubt, it was an event that negatively impacted our day.

Linda noche para mis amigos noctámbulos, el reloj marcò las doce y en casa todos duermen, yo me he quedado un rato sentada en el balcón, mirando las estrellas y refrescando con la frialdad de la noche.
Llegan hasta mí algunos pensamientos del día, sonrío cuando recuerdo las travesuras hechas por mi adorado niño, y luego de la nada mi ceño se frunce. ¿ El motivo? Fácil, algo que se ha hecho un poco habitual en nuestro día a día. Nos encontrábamos todos viendo una película en el televisor, de las que nos gusta a todos; de aventura, espadas y caballeros y de momento pummm, nos quedamos sin fluido eléctrico, por ende no pudimos disfrutar del tan aclamado y esperado final. Nos quedamos un poco angustiados, yo para levantar un poco el ánimo encendí la radio para escuchar un poco de música, pero era evidente nuestra decepción y el ánimo por el piso.

Ya luego volvieron la risas y los cuentos, pero sin duda alguna fue un suceso que marcò nuestro día negativamente.
