Unfortunately I am late on posting this as my dslr camera won't upload any photos or videos, my Rubbish laptop seems to be playing up again. Which is really unfortunate as I had taken all my decent photos and video on that. So I will have to make do with these not so great quality videos from my phone.

These are all unedited footage from my iPhone. Apologies for the vertical filming, as I mentioned I wasn't planning on using these for this blog. But needs must at the moment.

It was surprisingly easy to gain access to these tunnels, just a small climb of a fence and your in. As good as this was for us, I am worried that before long other more unsavoury characters will discover them and trash all history out of there.

I keep being asked if we found any spooky goings on while we explored, to be completely honest none of us really thought of that while walking around. I think the only thing to worry about was any unfriendly cohabitants seeking shelter. As the temperature was mild to warm, you could actually make a pretty good man cave down there.

when we come across the old bunk beds it really gave you the feeling of what it could have been like to be waiting out the bombings, praying all is well when you finally ascend into the light of day. The pure fear of the unknown happening right above you. People gasping at every thud, mothers consoling their children while praying their husband is safe fighting on the front line of battle over seas, Wishing one day this will all be over. To them, in that moment, they pray to never have to see those tunnel walls echoing fear ever again, to now where we feel privileged to gain access to these remarkable safety veins keeping our countrymen alive.
