Today is another wonderful day to hear the word of God, shared through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.

God is love. He demonstrated His love by giving His only begotten Son to save us from sin and to pay the price for our redemption. Our suffering comes from our sins because God is holy, and He hates sin—it separates us from His presence. When the devil realizes that we are not truly drawing closer to God, that is when suffering enters our lives.

Another reason for our suffering is our failure to follow God’s commandments. Unfortunately, many people continue to disobey Him, which is why suffering is so widespread in the world. To find true freedom from suffering, we must obey God and faithfully keep His promises.

God’s love is immeasurable and unconditional. He loves everyone equally, whether we are good or sinful. What God despises is our sin. When we turn away from Him, He does not abandon us but patiently waits for us to return to Him.

When God created Adam and Eve, He provided everything they needed. He only commanded them not to eat from one tree. But when they disobeyed, suffering, hardship, and death entered the world (Romans 5:12).

Brethren, let us strive to obey God’s commandments and follow His will every day.
