I had always wanted to get married on the beach. When I was younger I thought it would be fun and easy to throw a big party. Now that I'm a bit older, I still embraced the idea of a beach wedding, but without all of the hoopla that comes with drunken friends making fools of themselves and me. So my wife and I went to Bora Bora and were married on the beach in a native Bora Bora marriage ceremony. We didn't invite friends or family and had the time of our lives. Of course we held a get together at home when we returned, but Bora Bora will forever remain "ours".
