Hey Splinterfriends and family!Its me masterzarlyn28, Here is another entry for Splinterlands Fan Art Challenge! Hooray! Im happy to share with you my process on how I draw this character .

Rush Townsend is a Legendary Unit under the Fire Element released in the Rebellion Pack edition.
This card is powerful because it has a Range attack of 4, and it is also fast with a speed of 4, so it will definitely attack first. What’s even better is that it has the ability Ambush, so even before the battle begins, it can damage the opponent. What will make it difficult for the opponent is that it also has the Affliction Ability, so for sure, the healer will be useless when it hits the opponent’s tank.

Step by step Process
It’s a bit challenging to draw Rush Townsend because he’s holding a crossbow, so what I did was I only drew half of the character.
The first thing I did was the outline, and I had to revise it several times because I couldn’t get the right position for his head.
When I was somewhat satisfied with the outline, I started blocking in the shadows, darkening the parts where I wanted shadows.
After that, I started coloring, focusing on the main color first.
The Finished Product
Once I finished coloring the parts, I began shading. I also tried a new way of highlighting, using a contrast color instead of a lighter color in some parts of my drawing.
