βWho else here loves pancit canton? πββοΈ
β
βIt's savory and saucy but sometimes it's boring.
β
βSo last Monday, I decided to add some toppings to it.
β
βI cooked it for dinner and tried to mix it with tofu and kikiam.
β
βIngredients:

β
ββ’ 1 pack Lucky Me! Pancit Canton (120g)
ββ’ 8-9 pieces kikiam
ββ’ 3 blocks tofu
ββ’ 1 small onion
ββ’ 3-4 cloves garlic
ββ’ 1 tomato
ββ’ 2 tablespoons cooking oil
ββ’ 2 teaspoons soy sauce
ββ’ Small pinch of sugar
β
βLet's Cook!

β
βFirst, I heated up a little oil in my pan and started frying the kikiam until it turned golden brown and got that slightly crispy outside. Thatβs my favorite part because it tastes even better when itβs a bit crunchy. Once done, I took it out and set it aside.

β
βIn the same pan, I also fried the tofu cubes. I cooked them until they were light brown and firm on the edges. Fry it first, so it doesnβt get too soft or mushy later. I set that aside too, like the kikiam.

βStill using the same pan, I sautΓ©ed the garlic, onion, and tomato until they turned soft. I cooked it until it released its natural juices, which gives the whole dish a nice taste.

βThen I put back the fried kikiam and tofu into the pan, poured in a little soy sauce, and added a pinch of sugar, mixed everything well until coated and tasty, then transferred them into a bowl and set them aside.

βNow, into that same pan, I poured in about 1Β cup of water and brought it to a boil, dropped in the pancit canton noodles, and let them cook.

βWhile the noodles were boiling, I prepared my plate. I poured all the seasonings from the pack... the powder, the oil, and the sauce, and mixed them well.

βOnce the noodles were cooked, I drained them and transferred them straight onto the plate with the seasonings. I mixed everything until every strand was coated in that yummy sauce.

β
βThen, I placed the tofu and kikiam toppings right on top! β¨π«°π»β¨
β
βI mix everything right before eating, and it goes so well together. It was so filling and tasted absolutely awesome! πππ
β
βIf you think pancit canton is boring, you definitely need to try this combo. Simple ingredients, but such a great meal. π
β
βUntil my next cooking...
β
βThanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. ππΈ
