From Santa Cruz, I took an afternoon to drive north towards San Francisco. And along the road there are many small beaches, most of them are just completely empty, desert! But one of the coolest spots I stopped was Bonny Doon Beach. The beach is hidden behind some cliffs, you can't see it from the road. You need to park on the road and walk up a hill, then go down the other side. The drone views are amazing, as there are some small beaches near by and lots of dramatic cliffs, and looks like some caves too. This was the only flight in Santa Cruz that got me a bit worried, I started flying south, and when I got pretty high I started to get some high wind warnings. I tried to lower the drone, but the warnings didn't go away. The wind was blowing from north, so I started trying to fly back and I could see that the drone was struggling to fly back. In the end, no problem getting back, but the wind was pretty strong even where I was standing on the beach.

De Santa Cruz, aproveitei uma tarde para dirigir em direção ao norte, rumo a São Francisco. Ao longo da estrada, há muitas praias pequenas, a maioria delas completamente vazias, desertas! Mas um dos lugares mais legais em que parei foi a praia de Bonny Doon. A praia fica escondida atrás de alguns penhascos, não dá para ver da estrada. Você precisa estacionar na estrada e subir uma colina, depois descer pelo outro lado. As imagens do drone são incríveis, pois há algumas pequenas praias nas proximidades e muitos penhascos dramáticos, e parece que há algumas cavernas também. Este foi o único voo em Santa Cruz que me deixou um pouco preocupado. Comecei a voar para o sul e, quando cheguei bem alto, comecei a receber alguns avisos de vento forte. Tentei baixar o drone, mas os avisos não desapareceram. O vento soprava do norte, então comecei a tentar voar de volta e pude ver que o drone estava com dificuldade para voar contra o vento. No final, não tive problema para voltar, mas o vento estava bem forte, mesmo onde eu estava na praia.
