The Victoria market is somewhat traditional and somewhat more for tourists. You can purchase a large array of typical Australian style food items which would be the more traditional aspect of the market and is what the locals would more so visit the market for. Then there is the aspect more aimed at tourists, for example souvenirs such as boomerangs, didgeridoos and many other typical "Australian" items. There is also a large array of clothing and consumer products and you will find most items you are looking for at this market. If you were searching for a more typical market aimed more at the Australian locals, then Melbourne hosts plenty of these style markets in the surrounding suburbs.
