What's It About: Hachimitsu Private Academy is a co-ed school with only five male students. They are incarcerated on-campus in prison cells by the female student council, who force them to serve manual labor as punishment for their perverted behaviors. The story follows their plan to escape and redeem themselves to their peers.
The Good: Some of the facial expressions are so unrealistic and crazy that they are hilarious. The story is rich and each character is well-developed, allowing each one proper time to interact with the others and allow their character arcs to flow naturally. The show is downright hilarious and the setups for the gags are excellent and have extremely high payoffs. The antagonists aren't chaotically evil and have rational motivations for their actions, so the emotional stakes in the story are tangible and have weight.
The Bad: There's a large amount of lewd, censored nudity (uncensored in the home video release) and suggested sexual content. There's also plenty of low-brow and toilet humor, although it's executed quite well. If you're not into these things, this show may not be for you. The student council vice-president Meiko Shiraki has comically large breasts to the point of absurdity, which again may or may not be your fancy.
Best Character: Gakuto. He is given the best facial expressions and is always part of the best jokes. He is the brains of the group, and often comes up with the plans that will help them get out of the prison. He speaks in an intentionally formal manner and tries to present himself as refined. He also has otaku habits, such as his obsession with figurines from his favorite story the Three Kingdoms.
Should I Watch It: This is the funniest anime I've ever watched. Period. I had seizures watching this for the first time.
