To get my self of the computer, every now and then, i started carving wood. I want to show some of my work.

I like to use yew tree wood because it is very hard and not brittle. Here i made a mushroom with a spiral trunk.

This is a kind of dog thing. It is still in one piece but the body seems to gradually fall apart.

Here are the tools i use (not my sand paper though). I am very proud of my Japanese knifes. They are doing very well for the rough work.

To cut out more details, i use these babies. Some of them are a bit expensive but worth it.

Those sticks are made of hardened steel and have a sharpened end. I use them for smaller! details.
Actually it is also possible to use them for carving a stones.
