Banano is a lot of fun. I am running the folding @ home app on my laptop. Can see some fun in doing it on a Raspberry Pi.

Yeah, it was fun (though a bit of a pain doing the fresh install of the OS on another card). I recommend setting up a Storj node if you are interested in a Pi project. Depending on the capacity of the storage you supply it can make a few STORJ tokens a month. I make around $2-3 with a 800Gb drive.

What can I say? Awesome article. I also like that you featured your RaspberryPi again, which model do you have?

Yeah it has been a while since I did a Pi project. This one tested me a bit because I needed a fresh install. But it was good practice for moving over my Storj Node and RVN/VTC nodes. One tip I think (from hindsight) is to write out all the steps first then do them.....rather than trying to remember on the fly!!! Live and learn ;)

I've got the 4b 4GB version. Thinking of treating myself to another at Christmas if I get a bit of cash or vouchers.

That's a pretty powerful little machine you've got there. I can't remember where I heard it, or if I even did, but I think they're going to launch an 8GB model. Maybe it was just my imagination 🤔

Yeah they released it a few months back 8gb ram on a credit card size computer. It is madness. I'm half tempted to get one and make it my regular desktop.

Whoo that's a bold move. I upgraded recently to a Ryzen7 plus 16GB of RAM. I think I wouldn't replace that with card-sized computers yet
