Before a mission at the cemetery, Jin and Ryuzo shared survival stories from the invasion. I then lured a Mongol patrol back to the Straw Hat camp to test the Ronin, leading to a strange standoff and a chase. After the battle, a yellow bird guided me to a peaceful haiku spot.

I was just about to head toward the cemetery to begin the next mission, but Ryuzo stopped me to ask how Jin had managed to survive the initial Mongol invasion. After Jin shared his story, he turned the question back to Ryuzo to ask how he and his men had escaped the slaughter, to which Ryuzo simply replied that they ran.

I began riding my horse toward the cemetery to meet Ryuzo for the new objective, but I suddenly encountered a Mongol patrol blocking my path. I took one of them down immediately in a formal standoff and then began running backward to lure the rest of the group.

I eventually stopped once I reached the straw hat camp, as it was my specific intention to draw those Mongols directly into the heart of the camp so the Ronin could get some combat practice against actual people.

Upon reaching the camp, the Mongols appeared strangely hesitant and scared, refusing to launch an attack even though I was standing well within their reach.

To my surprise, the Ronin also failed to engage, leaving the Mongols to simply try and escape the area. I moved ahead and managed to cut one of them down while the rest of the group scrambled away.

I chased the fleeing survivors, and after a short distance, the Mongols finally stopped their retreat and turned back to attack me, forcing me to draw my blade and fight back.

I began taking the enemies down one by one until only a single heavy soldier remained on the field. Utilizing my mastery skills, I dismantled his defense and took him down as well to finish the battle.

Suddenly, I noticed a bright yellow bird fluttering nearby, seemingly trying to lead me somewhere important. I decided to follow the bird's flight path, hoping it would lead me to a hidden side quest or a point of interest.

The bird eventually led me to the Tsutsu Haiku spot, a quiet place where I could sit and compose haiku. As I looked around to reflect, I chose to focus on the theme of death, visualizing a tree growing from a broken past toward its inevitable end, which rewarded me with the headband of death.

After completing the haiku, I took a moment to look out over the fishing village situated right by the ocean, where a beautiful sunset provided the perfect backdrop to pass some quiet time before moving on.
