BALISTICS AND RHEOLOGY: PREPARING THE COLOURS SERIES PALETTE

Hi to all, my name its Nahu Padilla, @nahupuku and this time I’m going to show you the technical evolution of my research: "PICTORIAL ARTILLERY: Material Consolidation and Rheology in the Studio". While previous stages explored the manual gesture, this new phase focuses on the chemical engineering of the pigment. I’m applying the Material Consolidation Protocol V2, reinforcing the fluid with PVA and industrial talc to ensure the vital energy (Àṣẹ) maintains its physical density and adhesion during the high-speed ballistic projection.

The visual power of the LNC Series (Phase 2 of Chromatic Ballistics) doesn't start with the shot, but in the laboratory. Before using the Artillery Brush, I had to solve a critical problem: the loss of pigment adhesion due to excess water.

In this session, I prepared a full range of colors applying the Material Consolidation Protocol V2. This is not just mixing paint; it is an exercise in rheology. I use a base of cold paints (Orocolor/Blackcolor) reinforced with a double dose of PVA white glue to recover the binder and industrial talc to give the fluid body and opacity.

Each color reached a consistency similar to thick honey. This ensures that when the Gatling gun rotates and projects the material, the pigment stays on the support (cardboard or opaline) instead of ending up on the floor. In the image you can see the result of this ritual: a vibrant, dense pallete, ready to be transformed into ballistic energy.

>Saludos, en este video esta vez les voy a mostrar la evolución técnica de mi investigación: "ARTILLERÍA PICTORIA: Consolidación Material y Reología en el Taller". Mientras que las etapas anteriores exploraban el gesto manual, esta nueva fase se centra en la ingeniería química del pigmento. Estoy aplicando el Protocolo de Consolidación Material V2, reforzando el fluido con PVA y talco industrial para garantizar que la energía vital (Àṣẹ) mantenga su densidad física y adhesión durante la proyección balística a alta velocidad.

>La potencia visual de la Serie LNC (Fase 2 de Balística Cromática) no comienza con el disparo, sino en el laboratorio. Antes de usar el Pincel de Artillería, me tocó resolver un problema crítico: la pérdida de adhesión del pigmento por el exceso de agua.

>En esta sesión, preparé una gama completa de colores aplicando el Protocolo de Consolidación Material V2. Esto no es solo mezclar pintura; es un ejercicio de reología. Uso una base de pinturas al frío (Orocolor/Blackcolor) reforzada con doble dosis de pega blanca PVA para recuperar el aglutinante y talco industrial para darle cuerpo y opacidad al fluido.

>Cada color alcanzó una consistencia similar a la miel espesa. Esto garantiza que cuando la Gatling gire y proyecte el material, el pigmento se quede en el soporte (cartón o opalina) en lugar de terminar en el suelo. En la imagen pueden ver el resultado de este ritual: una paleta vibrante y densa, lista para transformarse en energía balística.
