According to Buffet , bitcoin does not deserve to be called as a currency because there is no central bank acting as guarantor . Bitcoin is also called the "will not pass the test " as a currency because its value is based only other currencies , namely the US dollar . Unlike the official currency of the countries in the world that has a value comparison and guarantor in the form of the nation's wealth in the form of gold or foreign exchange reserves .
