There are moments in life when we pray, fast, and seek God's direction, yet it feels as though Heaven is silent.
We ask for answers about our finances, family, studies, health, or future, but instead of immediate solutions, we are met with waiting. During such seasons, many people begin to question whether God hears their prayers.
However, Scripture reminds us that God's silence does not mean His absence.
One of the most difficult lessons in the Christian journey is learning to trust God when we cannot see what He is doing behind the scenes. The same God who parted the Red Sea, protected Daniel in the lions' den, and raised Jesus from the dead is still working today, even when we cannot immediately see the evidence.
Waiting seasons often become preparation seasons. God uses them to strengthen our faith, develop our character, and teach us complete dependence on Him rather than on our own understanding.
Looking back at my life, I have realized that some prayers were answered later than I expected, but God's timing was always better than my own. What felt like a delay was actually divine preparation.
Today, if you are going through a difficult season and wondering whether God has forgotten you, remember this:
God's silence is not His rejection.
God's delay is not His denial.
God's timing is always perfect.
"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him." — Psalm 37:7
