I'm willing to bet all my STEEM that this has caused real people to actually go hungry and not have medical needs met in Venezuela and other such places. Children probably went to bed hungry and in tears.

Not to mention that people still will have precious little resources for happy and rampant discourse that comes with the thrill of finding a gathering of real people telling real stuff. No. Really. Even @ 10x.
But that's really kind of beside the point because the steemit snobs live to smack the fingers of someone who leaves an appreciative comment but doesn't throw a dust generating upvote.
All I see, when I read Steemit's own posts about these redesigns, is that these changes were created by people who are completely out of touch with the community. Or worse by elitists who call my randomness shit posting. Cause god knows we can't possibly share anything of value just talking about every day stuff. Bloody frekn hell!
Ya'll might want to consider listening to actual mathematicians who btw have been down voted for actually helping minnows. True. Down voted for curating the posts of minnows in his group because it was just a shit post.
Oh the kicker is he was Down voted by a steemit Inc employee whale for helping little redfish! Yes.
And the same employee knew the mathematician had proposed a workable solution.

And we're suppose to be considerate? We're suppose to think this is cutting edge? Well if it's cutting edge ya'll need to be damn sure you're not cutting life lines to real human beings. There are places where 1 STEEM still buys five loaves of bread but ya'll are busy making sure that it takes two months to earn 1 STEEM.
All I see is proof that your competition that you like to pretend you don't have is probably worth an explore.

You're billowing a hell of a lot of BS and smoke. Maybe you should spend less time in piss wars with Dan and more time paying attention to what you are failing to lead to real success. Technical success and Social success.
When we have to go to Discord to do actual communication as a community, Steemit is rapidly becoming irrelevant.
When people who can't afford to keep tons of STEEM in their account, can't make a strong effort to earn STEEM, STEEM is an irrelevant currency.
STEEM is already irrelevant as a currency to me as a US citizen. When 465 votes on one of my recent posts nets a few dollars, pff. But if some of this STEEM can buy bread in another country ...
The next few weeks had better be miraculous for you and Steemit or you've lost the pissing match with Dan. And you will have actually found a way to make life in Venezuela and other nations more impoverished.
