By the way, in case you dont know, you have to ensure that you are actually posting to a community when testing them. Your first tag should be the tag for the community, and if you use the UI, you should ensure "posting to blog" is not selected. I have attached some helpful example screenshots for you below.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting that. I find it kind of strange that what you post in your community isn't under blog. After all, it's still your blog, just a specific division of it. Of course I know that's just a front-end display, but still.

You can make community posts appear in your blog by resteeming them. Not very user friendly, but it works.

I think maybe they are still integrating changes. Someone mentioned a friends tab which I don't see so maybe that't the new feed and it will show up at some stage for me.

You must be the worlds smartest dude because I didn't think about typing the /feed thing in despite doing it a gazillion times to check out other people's feeds. I'm at work though and so semi-distracted...That's my excuse anyway. My other excuse is I'm a dumb-ass.

Yes, that's who told me...Also about two years ago...I have been distracted trying to work and steem at the same time so it didn't occur to me. I use it all the time when I am curating...Like an idiot I didn't think of it though. Lol.

/feed is useful if you have other accounts.

My main account has my follows, so when I'm on another interface and logged on with say @abh12345.sports, i can go to my main account feed to see what's going on.

Yeah, it's a good trick and one I use a lot...Just not yesterday when I had a blonde moment. Lol.

I know what you (and many others) mean, at first I was also shocked, but couldn't it actually have been the best decision to sell Steemit? Now, for example, Steemit, Inc. doesn't need to sell STEEM every month anymore.

At least I concede to @ned that he had the best intentions, and I would suggest to make peace with the past, where there are good and not so good memories, and concentrate on the future ... The remaining team members of Steemit, Inc. doesn't seem to see the change that negative ...
Anyway, I am not here to argue, and obviously the clear majority disagrees with my point of view.

I also get what you mean and I know the rest of the Steem Inc. team are committed to making good on the promises they've made.

It was interesting to see that most of the team seemed surprised with the announcement, though aware of a 'deal'.

In the past, Steemians would scream into the void and ask for clarification on a wide range of actions from Steem Inc and get ZERO feedback. Community concerns were ignored and instead we got guitar ballads.

There has certainly been a giant improvement in communication from the Steem devs and from Steem Inc./management starting in 2019. Nevertheless, it shouldn't have taken 3.5 years for this to happen.

Telegram over Steemit.

Slack over Steemit.

He may have his reasons but it always gave the wrong signal and most often actions speak louder than words.

Personally, I'm excited about communities launching and am looking ahead.

It's very possible that this event could be the best thing to happen to Steem. We'll have to wait and see. I do hope to see a Steem resurgence one day... it's still possible but I think it will come from the bottom-up and not the top-down.

Maybe what really disturbs me, is that some people (I don't mean you, and that's why I replied to you) don't seem to differentiate between 'criticizing' and 'destroying' someone.
If I ever had the chance to talk to @ned I would for sure criticize some things he did, as well (and I did in the past), but at the same time I am thankful that he co-created this whole ecosystem, and in case of doubt would believe he had the best intentions.
