Difference between Emotion & Mood
Emotion is short-term feelings but intensive. It has a specific reason. Such as after losing your favorite cricket team, you may be sad for a few moment.
On the contrary, Mood is a long-term feeling but not intensive, it's milder. But you may not find any specific reason for your mood. You might find yourself in a gloomy mood for several days or several weeks without any unidentified reason.
