Hi everyone!

Hope you're all well!
Welcome to my video made exclusively for D.Tube and Cinnamon

So, I was starting to wind down my physical therapy visits, when suddenly they just kind of discharged me and told me to come back and start over if I had any issues in a month or so.

I don't really understand what happened... I would have thought they would keep working with me for as long as I was willing to pay them...

They were super expensive, and healthcare is rough in the US... but yeah, dumped, so confused.
What do you think?

In my experience, its 50/50 whether or not a PT provider will give you the boot or the treatments will drag on.

It largely depends on your insurance company. My medical insurance covers a set number of visits before requiring a re-evaluation. When my car insurance was paying for it though, they just keep asking me to come until I got sick of it and asked to be discharged.

So, don't worry, its them :P

Hahaha, I had assumed as much... there was definitely a whole lot going on behind the scenes here. My PT was so stressed about the convo... and I can only assume because it didn't feel right at all and had nothing to do with the actual medical progress I was making.

I wonder if there are medical brokers out there... people who help you navigate this crazy, crazy system.

It really is... I've been here for 5 years so far. I've been so surprised so much with this system. It's so crazy to me that I can only go to particular physical therapists because of the insurance.
